The rationalization proposal program has been in effect since September 2018, and it has now been running for six months. In 2018, a total of 130 suggestions were adopted, 109 improvement measures were completed, and 21 ongoing improvement projects are currently being implemented.
The table below summarizes the submission, adoption, and implementation of rationalization proposals from September to December 2018. As shown, rationalization proposals were launched in September, with 35 suggestions received that month, 34 of which were adopted; 30 have already been completed, and 4 are currently being implemented. October saw a surge in submissions, with 48 proposals received and 44 adopted; 37 have been completed, and 7 are under execution. Thereafter, the number of submitted proposals gradually declined: in December, 16 proposals were received and all 16 were adopted, with 14 now completed and 2 still in progress. The steady decrease in submitted proposals aligns with the natural course of development, indicating that superficial managerial and technical inefficiencies within the company have been significantly addressed. However, deeper-rooted issues in management and technology still require further identification and resolution by all employees.
The rationalization proposal initiative aligns with the principles of lean management, encouraging employees to take proactive ownership and thereby improving the work environment and atmosphere, boosting production efficiency, and enhancing the company’s corporate image. This effort must be sustained and rigorously pursued, ensuring that the company’s production and management operations remain on a steady path of continuous improvement.
